Maybe I'm a naif, but this is remarkable to me for a couple reasons. First, I didn't realize FTC required disclosure of any personal/financial interest in tweets or Instagram posts recommending products, events, etc. The ramifications if that rule were enforced are endless...
E.g.: imagine you tweet how much you like your new iPhone, and incidentally your 401(k) happens to include some Apple stock. Misleading advertising?
I also didn't realize how much $ influencers can make from social media. Jenner got $250,000 for a single IG post promoting the Fyre Festival. Ratajkowski got $300k -- for ONE IG POST. Wow. #TaxTheFuckingRich

(1) Thread - On 8/1/12, my first daughter, Nicaea, died. It was a life-defining experience for me & my family. It also opened my eyes to the lack of actually helpful materials for grieving families( I'll link to the good stuff at the end).

Here are a few lessons we learned:
(2) Lesson 1 - The death of the child presents you with an opportunity to decide if you are really a Christian or not. This type of situation reveals who you really are inside. Will you cling to God? Will you embrace unbelief & turn to idols that make promises they can't keep?
(3) (cont): We decided that we were Christians. We would process the death of our child thru God's Word. It was truly a hard decision to make. You too will have to struggle to decide where you faith lies when it is painfully challenged. None escape the death of a loved one.

What the Israelites heard at Sinai has become known as the “Ten Commandments.” But this description raises obvious problems.
First, neither the Torah nor Jewish tradition calls them the Ten Commandments. The Torah calls them aseret hadevarim (Ex. 34:28), and tradition terms them aseret hadibrot, meaning “the ten utterances.”

HERA: Queen of the Gods. DO NOT FIGHT JFC DON'T DO IT DON'T. Check the fate of some of Zeus's sidepieces (ex. Io, Lamia) & tell me you want to take her on.
Plus her life seems pretty joyless (best compliment she gets is "cow-eyed," come ON) so just be chill & leave her alone.
