Calling them lies is not enough. It is his "disinformation campaign" 24/7 which he learned from Vladimir Putin. Americans should read Timothy Snyder's "The Road to Unfreedom; Russia, Europe, America." How Trump's disinformation tactics mirror Putin's will shock you.
The audience needs to think more about the INTENT of the lies in a certain thread of them. The way the media handles it now (& that's only recent) is that Trump is a compulsive liar. This leaves the audience blind as to the intent & thinking he's just a mental spastic. Not true!

Opening the event is Dr. Crystal Edwards, superintendent of Lynchburg City Schools. Says she's "not afraid to do the hard work" to engage families on safety concerns. Also that it's tough to notify parents right away about concerns when ask the facts aren't in.
Edwards: "it's a 24/7 job" to coordinate with kids, parents, police and community on safety concerns. Wants parents who see "talk" about gun/gang violence on social media to report it immediately to the school (who can then report it to the police.)

Social media, for me, sows a lot of seeds of unhappiness. I’ve been generally more happy and in control of my contentment when I stepped away. I believe it’s a useful and necessary tool for me though. So I’ll have to slowly figure out out how this looks for me moving forward.
I believe, in a holy sense, God wants us to be happy. I think He defines happiness better than we can though, and we don’t more clearly realize that until we trust him to step away from some things.
Once I put the social media dopamine pipe down, I found myself getting the same, if not better, “highs” from reading and relationships. They were always there, but SM, (namely Instagram) was suppressing them in some ways.
