Johnson again says: no checks on goods from NI to GB under his "great new deal". Media again report as if it's a point for genuine discussion. To reiterate: plain text of his agreement is explicit, there WILL be checks from NI to GB. He's a pathological liar, BBC, so just say it!
BBC seem to be making same error as successive Tory leaders: thinking the Hard Right Beast can be satisfied with some altar offerings... They'll learn the same lesson as Major, Cameron, May etc: there is no offering to sate their ideological zeal; it only makes them more hungry.
But make no mistake. If Johnson wins on 12th, the UK will experience the most right wing regime in its modern political era. With no EU to moderate it. Every single institution and value of the UK's postwar settlement will be vulnerable to its ideological fervour. BBC included.
