Today, I will share reasons we are grateful for the year 2019

I am deeply grateful to the #NCDCTeam who go over and beyond in the delivery of our mandate to protect the health of Nigerians.

An incredible honour to lead such a great Team

I’m grateful for the leadership of @Fmohnigeria, Hon. Minister Dr Osagie Ehanire, Minister of State @senatornmamora and Permanent Secretary Abdullahi Abdulaziz

The strong leadership and support from our parent Ministry has enabled our growth in various areas

Very grateful to all our sister agencies and partners from across the world, who continue to work closely with us in strengthening Nigeria’s health security

THANK YOU to Nigerians for the support you have given us this year.

But we can still do more in protecting our health;

💉 Ensure you and your family are vaccinated

🚿 Wash your hands frequently

🔬Get tested if you feel ill, before treatment

🧹 Keep your environment clean

We have outlined our 2020 vision as a Team, most of which will include strengthening capacity at the State level.

I look forward to another exciting year in leading Nigeria’s national public health institute
