Matt here. I bring this up often but today, it takes on even more significance.

This is a death threat to my teenage son from the Breitbart comment section listing the name, address and number of our synagogue. I asked @joelpollak for days to take it down. They waited for five.

Here are anti-Semitic comments about me and calls for attacks listing our address on The Daily Caller. These, too, were reported and they waited for 5 days to take them down, ensuring that I, and my family, would be subjected to maximum harassment or violence against us.

Looking at these comments on sites viewed by @google and @Facebook as mainstream, you can understand how yesterday’s attacks could easily happen to us.

This is not a beef on Twitter.

This is real life and death stuff.

Breitbart, where the above comments surfaced, was just listed by @Facebook and @campbell_brown as a “trusted news source”.

The Daily Caller, where our address was listed to make us “pay” is monetized by @GoogleAds.

Anti-Semitism has always been with us, but it has never been legitimized, amplified and monetized the way it is today.

There are a lot of places to lay blame for its rise, but you can lay at least some at the feet of these outlets and the social media companies that enable them

Adding to this, it’s beyond hypocritical that @joelpollak published an editorial today about how Jews can defend themselves against anti-Semitism when he wouldn’t remove this death threat to my son at our *synagogue*.

Feel free to post this thread to @joelpollak’s editorial here on Twitter asking him about it. He blocked us because we did.
