Starting at Madhavan Perumal , she explained the history of Thirumailai (mylapore), it's recorded history and how it has thrived throughout history under various dynasties. And titbits on Thirvallikeni.
Next was Veerabhadra swami temple. A small temple where she explained the form of Veerabadhra,how his worship along with Kali &Veera Hanuman became came more common during Vijayanagara period. due to invasions, the stressed rulers worshipped these ugra forms for courage (veeram)
Next two were Karaneeshwarar & Virupaksheshwarar Temple that are next to each other.Chola era inscriptions have been lost due to shabby renovations & are extremly fragmented.Entire slab of Chola inscriptions were thrown off during construction of new Gopuram at Virupaksheeshwarar
Young boy wanted to know why we have Dwajasthambam in a temple. Kids should listen to Chithra mam more, she explains it so well.
After Malleeshwarar, a tiny temple that's floor level is 3 steps below the road, ( thanks to ridiculous urban planning that happened later by raising the road level ) , we finished with Valeeshwarar temple.

Brihadeeshwara vimana was gold plated. ! Inscription mentions that.
Temple tanks were numerous in Mylapore, not all temples have them now.

of course whatever I mentioned here is not 0.1% of what she explained. But I can say that these temples are ridiculously maintained by HRCE with Valieeshwarar being the worst. Renovations have been carried out so badly that the heritage aspect has been completely removed.
