If anybody tells you with any confidence what is going to happen in VA on Monday, they are a fool. Nobody knows. We're in uncharted territory, here, at least for the US.

I say this because I see a lot of confidence out there. Pro-gun confidence that it's a trap or a setup for a false flag, or that this or that is gonna kick off. Lefty confidence that a bunch of LARPers are going to throw yet another tantrum then go home & bite their pillows.
Me? I have literally no idea. None. I have been in pro-gun circles my entire life -- professionally in the past few years. And I have no framework for this. It's exactly like what I imagined it would look like before something real bad, but "imagined" is the operant word there.
Real talk: I am scared but hopeful.
I'm scared some of my people are about to open a door that won't be easily closed.
But I'm hopeful when I see this much massive, organized rage at the status quo, even if so much of it's misdirected & fueled by conspiracy & rumor.

It's like the feeling I had when I read that article POTUS's "you're dopes & babies" rant at the generals.

It's just one of those seasons, I guess. Society has them now and again. Sane, ordinary people want big changes, but we want them a certain way. So often, though, it ends up being the dangerous crazies & loons & dirtbags who are setting the timetable and calling the shots. 🤦♂️
Everyone else just ends up reacting to what the crazies are doing.

That tweet is relatively mild, too. Anyone who thinks that tweet is abnormal or in any way an outlier is not in the right FB groups or following the right pages. So many have gone so far beyond that in recent days.
