Argentina received $50bn from IMF

PMB declined.

2. IMF ask Nigeria & Argentina to devalue their currency.

Argentina devalued their currency by 566%.
PMB resist devaluation of Naira.

3. IMF ask Nigeria & Argentina to stop defending their currency.

Argentina stop defending their currency through their central bank

CBN defend our currency & put dollar withdrawal limit to $1000 monthly. That was when some foreign students rain

Whenever Shagari presented his Budget, the following day, Awolowo would call a Press Conference where he would praise the parts of the budget that are good, criticize the parts that are bad and proffer alternatives....

Awolowo would never say "The Budget is a total
disaster" like Wailers say today..... That's why Shagari considered it worthy to give Awolowo GCFR for his brilliant contributions to the nation even as Opposition Leader!!!

Data is the per capita IGR, per capita FAAC, and per capita revenue.

This is a short thread . More coming later today.
Per-capita IGR is as follows for the first four states Lagos ₦21.2K, FCT ₦11.6k, Ogun ₦11.3k, and Delta ₦7.1k.
Katsina, Kebbi, Borno, Yobe, and Zamfara all earn raised less than ₦1000 per person in IGR.

States position changed on the graph of IGR vs IGR per capital graph
The most per capita FAAC goes to BAYELSA 63.5k, DELTA 35.4k, AKWA IBOM 34.5k, and RIVERS 22.1
Least recipient of FAAC- OSUN 4.6k, KANO 6k, OYO 7. 1k, and OGUN 7.1k #StateOfStates

I'm sure you must have seen this news report. I recall doing a thread on this particular subject in May 2018 based on the Q4:2017 Pencom Report. I just went through the Q4:2018 Pencom report and sadly nothing has changed. See next tweet for the thread

In the thread (which you can see below), I mentioned that only 12 States out of 36 were remitting Civil Servants pensions as required by law which. From the just released Pencom Report, only 12 are still remitting. Not one more State has been added.

The sad part of this is that 7 out of 23 States "yet to commence" Contributory Pension Scheme have pension laws in place for Governors and Deputies. Ironically, States with limited resources like Osun are fully implementing while some with huge resources like Akwa Ibom are not.
