Reflection is great.
But ultimately, its action that will pull you out of darkness.
Your body is fighting you. The body feels heavy, lethargic & drained.
Fight back. Take action anyways.
Gym, hobbies, skill building etc
Reflection will help you with the healing process.
But it is action that will unlock greatness.
Moving on comes from learning the WHAT, acknowledging it & coming into acceptance with it.
But just need to acknowledge it.
However, most people automatically go to the WHY.
'Why is the world out to get me?'
'Why am I such a bum?'
Me, me, me....
When you lead with WHY, you aren't reflecting.
You are just assigning yourself the narrative of a victim.
Gotta be better than that
When you know what kind of predicament you're in, that's when you own up to your mistakes.
You'll realize that others weren't only responsible.
You may have been responsible as well.
You are the only person who needs to pull yourself out of rock bottom.
Others aren't going to do it for you.
That's where action comes in.
Not even close.
This is why in order to control your mind, you are going to have to do it thru the tangible world.
You don't need to do a whole makeover yet.
Just get 1 part started & invest all of you into it to teach your body emotional intelligence.
Your body is dumb, but can be made intelligent.
So teach it.
Flow with the energy rather than against it.
You know swim along the tsunami rather than against it.
And once you can control the sensations, you can begin controlling the mind.
And it's hard for use to control what we can't see.
Luckily, we can see the body.
And we can see ourselves taking action.
Learning a skill is a form of meditation.
The strong sensations may not be gone.
But at least your mind knows that it can operate under these circumstances
-distracting yourself with drugs, alcohol, snacks.
You are:
-investing in yourself with knowledge, practice & consistency.
That may not be the pretty advice.
But it's the advice which allows you to use your pain & discover your inner victor.
Rather than stay a victim
But there will be plenty more to come.
Carry yourself like a G on this one, so possible ones in the future feel like light work.
