'Is being soft spoken bad?'

Not gonna sugar coat it. Yea, its pretty bad in the social world.

Soft voices get trampled on & cut off.

Your voice is like a muscle.

Always aim to strengthen it. Don't settle for less when you don't have too champ
Soft spoken people get cut off & get their jokes stolen.

'Why is my voice soft?'

Due to your mind.

'You sure it's not physical.'

Yep. Its mental...👇👀
Your voice is a representation of your mind.

I was once like you...

Had a very soft voice.

So I know the psychology behind it.
You want to be heard, but not really.

Whether you are aware of it or not.

You don't want too many eyes on you in the interaction.

Because too much attention makes you feel uneasy.
But you wanna talk though.

Because you got good ideas. Don't wanna just be a fly on the wall.

So you subconsciously speak in a tonality to say words.

But in a soft tone, just incase you fumble your words.
'How embarrassing would it be if I have all these eyes looking at me & I fumble my words' you wonder.

Which is why you have half foot in & half foot out.

All mental.
Ironically, you make MORE mistakes when you have a soft voice.

You aren't speaking with intent.

Which causes the words to get blurred.

You confuse yourself.

You confuse others.
Before taking your voice to the gym (which I'll bring up shortly) you need to work on your self image.

Do something to make yourself proud.

You may already have done plenty of noteworthy stuff in your life.

Acknowledge it.
You voice is a strong indicator of how much YOU believe in you..

Invest in skills.

Practice gratitude.

Help others.

These are the traits of a winner.

Act like a winner so you see yourself like a winner.
You wanna also top off the mental training with physical training.

Take your voice to the gym.

My 2 best recommendations:

1. Read a book out loud.
2. Record your voice & LISTEN to it.
1. Read a book out loud.

Books used to be reserved only for royal people.

Common folks didn't know how to read.

And those royal people often didn't read with their minds like we do today.

They read out loud.
Reading out loud allows you to discover the hidden potential of your voice.

Your voice is a combination of:

A flute
A violin

-the flute part is where you blow the air.

-the violin part is where you strum the vocal chords.

Learn to play your voice.
2. Record your voice & LISTEN to it.

No one heard their voice for the first time and was like:

'Gee whiz, that sounds amazing!!'

The more common reaction is:

'Uhh...I sound like that??'
Listening to your voice isn't easy.

But nothing that requires growth is easy.

Start a podcast or create audio journals.

Talk & listen back to it.

Analyze flaws, self correct, repeat.
Ultimately, it starts of as a lifelong mental game.

And then you up the stakes with the physical game.

As someone who had a soft voice, I was able to change it.

If I can, there's no reason you can't either.
You feel unheard.

And you feel like you're in the bottom of the social totem pole.

Which is why you're setting the narrative for something else to be proud of.

Strengthening your voice.
Never settle for less.

Always strive for more.

That's been the mantra yesterday.

It's been the mantra today.

And itll be the mantra forever.

Let's get it.
