Something just happened that surprised even me: The doorbell rang (which usually annoys me), and it turned out to be a young guy going door-to-door for @ewarren; and when he left, I broke down weeping, as if I'd been holding back a torrent of tears. In fact, I have been. [1/5] 
We've lost so much already under this criminal, traitorous, and wholly illegitimate presidency. I can no longer talk to 3/4 of my family, who have been brainwashed by @FoxNews. Every day we see our country further degraded and dishonored by the criminal in the White House. [2/5]
Every day we see online dialogues polluted by bots, propaganda, and right-wing rhetoric, a tidal wave of viciousness and lies. Every day we're told there is no way to escape from this nightmare, this collective derangement, and that hope for better is naive. [3/5]
Sure, I'd vote for @ewarren, but I'd also vote for *any other Democratic candidate*, because America is in grave trouble. Those WW2 movies we watched as kids, when brave Allies and resisters beat the Nazis? We're in one now. [4/5]
But this time, we have to beat a new kind of enemy on our own turf in new ways. I'm not sure if voting will be enough; but it's a start, and we must be victorious, as our great-grandparents were. Thank you for coming to my door, Eli. And good luck to all of us. [5/5]
