The officers arrived on foot at the place where huachicol and drugs were allegedly being sold. About eight individuals who were in the area opened fire as soon as they noticed the presence of the authorities, and the Army and National Guardsmen responded to the aggression.
The armed attack lasted a few minutes, after which the security forces found a male individual who had been hit in the head and was taken for medical attention but died before arriving at the hospital, the rest of the attackers managed to flee the area.
