I just found out that Sean Dunne (@SeanVeryApe) put nearly all jis documentaries up on youtube. These are wonderful works and this is an enormous gift. veryape.tv
I first heard of his work with THE ARCHIVE, a film about a guy with way too many records who was trying to get them somewhere (like many hoarders, he had a lot of conditions). The film captures that great feeling of Too Much Stuff.
From there I saw AMERICAN JUGGALO, an unflinching eye of Juggalo Nation and at least some insight into what brings these kids together. The opening is stunning.
I also saw OXYANA at Tribeca Film Festival. It's the longest of the docs and should be exhibit A in the trisl where we throw the family behind Oxycotin into a volcano.
They're all good. Many are a very quick view (less than 10 minutes) and you peer through a dirty window into worlds you might not otherwise see. Strong recommend. youtube.com/channel/UCTAb1…
