Weird, but when I was in the Army, going around the commander because you thought you had a better plan didn't make you a hero. It made you an asshole.

Of course, I served back when the Army won wars so my experience is clearly obsolete.
Alternate ideas include...

1) "Sir *closes door* you are making a big f***ing mistake and my job is to keep you from stomping on your d***."
2) "Hey Sergeant Major, maybe he'll listen to you."
3) "Hmmmmm. Maybe the boss knows something I don't, him being the boss and all, and maybe I'll shut my chili mac port until I have the the full G2 on the situation."
4) "When I'm the commander, I'll do it my way."
These are all fine options. What you don't do is spill info your boss gave you in confidence to embarrass him because you have a policy disagreement.

Issue #1 right now is Iran...

Iran is clearly behind the attack on our ally. It's an unprecedented provocation. The question is "What does Iran want to provoke?"

Clearly, Iran wants the expected consequences of a military attack - retaliation.

2/
The obvious/traditional response would be US retaliatory strikes (cruise missiles/planes) on military targets in Iran.
But Iran knows that. And it's clearly made the decision to accept the predictable damage. So it's clear that it wants that kind of military response. Why?

So, you've definitely seen the "Bass Pro Pyramid" going around, whether in meme format or just as a curiosity. But how the hell did it come to be? And why fucking Bass Pro Shops?

Let's dig into the kinda-short and actually-pretty-cursed history of this modern mess of a monolith.
As a quick starting note, I'm not a historian, professional nor even casual, so I can't promise 100% accuracy. However, I grew up by this beast, and I can definitely confirm that even the facts surrounding it are weird.

So in light of all the tweets going around talking about scrubbing, I want to remind people there are disabilities that make bathing and other forms of grooming difficult or impossible.

Executive functioning difficulties with autism are also very common.
Autism related grooming difficulties are not talked about often because there’s no physical impediment that keeps me from combing my hair for example, but it is incredibly stressful and I haven’t used a comb in years.

I keep my hair short enough that it isn’t an issue.
For another example, my beard is very coarse and can be difficult to shave. I’ve gotten my shaving routine down to two types of blades.

One solution would be moisturizing and conditioning my beard, but adjusting to that habit is needlessly stressful. I cannot explain why.
