Former Deputy Attorney General George J. Terwilliger III joins the fray. Terwilliger was a very important member of the Barr Team that has not publicly rejoined the band!

At one point, even mentioning the name Terwilliger on Twitter would draw out an army of bots & trolls.
Yet George remained in the shadows for the last few years. His taking a public stance is very encouraging that the game is coming to an end!

GJT, III, was Deputy AG under Bill Barr during the HW Bush Admin as Barr's team was attempting to drain the Swamp through the BCCI case. He wrote this op-ed in the @washingtonpost to support the AG doing his job & leading DOJ.

More important than his support for Barr, is Terwilliger's dredging up old cases like BCCI for us to look at again.
BCCI was a corrupt bank that was used by the Mafia, CIA, Swampy politicians, & bad guys all over the planet.

According to Senator John F. Kerry, the CIA interfered in that case to prevent DOJ from investigating prosecuting people connected to their actions. fas.org/irp/congress/1…

A small but loyal team at DOJ was after BCCI, the informants Donald & Robert Trump, the prosecutors Giuliani, Comey, Mueller, Rosenstein, Terwilliger & Barr. Blocked by CIA & the Swamp from holding criminals accountable.

So Terwilliger rejoining the debate & highlighting these issues is very critical, it points people back to the heart of the Swamp.
Conveniently, a few days ago, liberal twitter started remembering this cases & blaming the obstruction on Barr. So now they are digging into it!

Can't wait until they figure out that a bi-partisan group obstructed that investigation (not Barr's team) & extended to GHW Bush pardoning some of the guilty parties on his way out of office & Clinton firing the prosecutors at DOJ on his way into office.

If you are not aware, former DAG Terwilliger's son is another of the second generation people from the Barr/Trump team involved in this fight. G. Zach Terwilliger is now the US Attorney for Eastern District of Virginia covering the Pentagon & CIA.

But before Trump appointed him to that role, he was AUSA in EDVA working for Dana Boente, was assigned as an investigator to help Sen. Grassley's committee, & then was Chief of Staff for DAG Rod Rosenstein. Good man to have on the team in all the right places...

Just to take a quick snapshot of BCCI, the Kerry Report found that BCCI had bribed politicians in at least 73 countries to enable it's crimes. It is why we can't drain the Swamp in the US, we must drain those Swamps too in order to get the evidence to convict our Swamp creatures.
