Folks, I want to take a minute to introduce you to one of my oldest childhood friends, Matt.

And tell you the story of his wife Alexandra, and their prayerful decision to choose to choose adoption

Matt and Alexandra are two of the most God-loving people you will ever meet

Together, they run a farm down in Tennessee

They have a deep desire placed by God on their hearts to have and raise children

In their words:

"We hope to surround our baby with family and friends who are just as excited to meet them, love them, and give them endless hugs and kisses like we are"

"We want those in his or her life to pour their hearts and lives into them, to teach them what it means to love, laugh, make mistakes, have fun, be respectful, and help others."

As part of their adoption process, they have started a crowdfunding campaign

It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs are quite high

(I wish they weren't)

"The more we have talked about it the more we understand that it isn’t about asking people for money"

"It is asking them to be a part of our story and our child's story in how they got to come home"
