This is so wildly irresponsible I can barely find the words. Florida has more seniors per capita than any state and int'l tourism elements: hotels, cruise lines and Disney World & vast agricultural sectors & a huge prison population that are all especially vulnerable to COVID19.
And Florida under its previous governor, @SenRickScott -- previously known as the CEO of a healthcare company that paid a record $1.7 BILLION fine for Medicaid, Medicare & Tricare fraud -- refused to expand Medicaid, so it also has large numbers of people who are uninsured.
Hopefully DisneyWorld and other resort businesses in the state, and wise mayors in Florida will ignore the governor and stay closed, to save lives. usatoday.com/story/travel/d…
