1/10 My mom worked her ass off & has little to show for it. She started asking about #bitcoin today. I took her on a tour through @Blockstream & #greenwallet, @COLDCARDwallet & #bluewallet, & signing a PSBT via sneakernet then broadcasting w/my own Raspi4 full node.

2/10 Export the wallet file from the @COLDCARDwallet

1: Select Micro SD Card
2: Select Export Wallet
3: Select #Electrum Wallet
4: Select Native SegWit

3/10 Create a new wallet in #bluewallet (Make sure the CC wallet file is accessible on your phone)

1: Select "+" sign in upper right-hand corner
2: Select Import wallet
3: Select import file instead
4: Your camera will activate, select file symbol in lower right-hand corner

4/10 Import continued...

5: Select wallet file
6: Your zpub will show in dialogue box, select Import
7: After completion, the success alert will appear
8: Allow hardware wallet use

5/10 Start building tx by generating receiving address in #greenwallet by @Blockstream (seed phrase security & initial wallet setup procedures apply)

1: Log In
2: Select Receive
3: Copy address

6/10 Build tx continued...

4: Paste receiving address in #bluewallet
5: Adjust tx fee
6: Enter the amount to send
7: Export tx file (PSBT) & save to your MicroSD card

7/10 Sign the PSBT via sneakernet w/ @COLDCARDwallet

1: Select ready to sign
2: Select the PSBT
3: Confirm the details, hit Ok, & eject the MicroSD card.

8/10 Generate raw tx

1: Make the signed PSBT accessible on your phone
2: In #bluewallet select Open Signed Transaction
3: Copy the tx hex
(We could have sent the tx from #bluewallet but wanted to send from our own node instead)

9/10 Broadcast your tx to the #Bitcoin network

1: Use the 'sendrawtransaction' command followed by the tx hex you copied.
2: Wait for the confirmations to start rolling in.
3: Check your #greenwallet for funds.

10/10 This was just a neat way for me to show my mom a few different #Bitcoin products and explain how it works through hands-on experience. Take some time to show your loved ones why #Bitcoin is awesome before brrrrrrrrrrr gets the best of their savings accounts.
