@aavaas_412 @ritinewa 1/ Avaas, here's why I am confused.

You seemed to be making a gender-based argument for how violence is NOT just a male domain. And yet, your supporting argument seems to be that women with power can be violent. I can see how if power were something ONLY women had then...
@aavaas_412 @ritinewa 2/ ...it would bolster your your gender-based contention about violence. But it's not. When there is power differential between people, the more powerful (whether a man, a woman, a child, able bodied, disabled, a trans etc.) has the potential to be and can be violent on a less...
@aavaas_412 @ritinewa 3/ powerful individual(s) regardless of their gender (sex, age, sexuality, physical capabilities etc.!

I agree with you and @RITiNews about that violence. The violence that woman metted out was based on race where she, thinking of herself as a superior race & feeling more... Image
@aavaas_412 @ritinewa @RITiNews 4/ ...powerful than the victim. Even a white boy/girl could be violent towards a black/brown boy/man/woman for the same reason -- the feeling of superiority and thinking/believing they have more power. (In #Nepal, Children, for eg., of very wealthy families being violent...
@aavaas_412 @ritinewa @RITiNews 5/ ...on their maids/guards/gardeners etc. is another eg. Children of slave owners in d US being violent on their adult slaves is yet another.) In other words, power differentials can bring out violent tendencies in ANY1, regardless of gender (sex, age, physical ability etc.).
@aavaas_412 @ritinewa @RITiNews 6/ Now to take a few steps back & address the issue about men being the source of "all bad" that Avaas contended the "militant feminists" believe 7 & to tie violence to patriarchy...
Here's a PARTIAL list of violence categorized by perpetrator-victim (x-on-y) combo. Pretty much.. Image
@aavaas_412 @ritinewa @RITiNews 7/ ...EVERY category of violence exists! Again, one of the reasons being that a power differential may enable a child to be violent on a grown adult man!

BUT here's the thing though: the extent & degree of violence where the man/men is d PERPETRATOR is MULTIPLE times bigger...
@aavaas_412 @ritinewa @RITiNews 8/8 ...than any where the perpetrator is NOT male. I wouldn't be surprised, if the extent & degree of violence where man/men are the perpetrator surpasses ALL others combined. And that is PARTLY because of patriarchy. Patriarchy endows more power to men among other things.
@aavaas_412 @ritinewa @RITiNews Postcript: D other reason men are more violent in general than others is physical strength. (Of course, NOT all men are stronger than all women or even all children. Instances of a woman being stronger than, & therefore being violent on, a man, I am sure, exists.)
