Every #COVID19 death is a tragedy for the individual and their family. But there are tens of thousands of tragedies of all kinds every day. People die. It's an uncomfortable, cold, hard fact. What is disturbing is the MSM & Politicians fetishizing only ONE kind of death.

The over-emotionalizing & over-the-top fear-mongering of #COVID19 are not justified by the actual numbers. Instead, those numbers- tragic as they are- are but a fraction of the projections from academic 'models' that MSM & politicians cite as if they were fact. They are not.

Furthermore, the actual number of deaths from #COVID19 are in lone or much less than those from annual influenza epidemics. In many ways, SARS CoViD2 is Much less deadly- in both numbers and the breakdown of those who die.

While there are outliers, whatbis missing are deaths of otherwise healthy, younger people that die in EVERY epidemic. And #Covid_19 seems to be skipping the very young to an overwhelming extent, except, as I said, with s few statistical outliers.

Moreover, statistically the overwhelming majority of deaths are the very old, and the immunocompromised- most of whom have 2 or more covalent conditions that weighed contribute to- or z actually cause- their deaths. Many deaths are concentrated in clusters at nursing homes.

The Media focus on the outliers, though- as that generates fear (and, thus clicks and eyeballs). Also, many deaths attributed TO #COVID2019 are actually only of those who had tested positive for the virus, but actually died primarily or solely from another cause.

But they're all coded, counted & reported as '#COVID19 Deaths' by both Health industry officials & the CDC. If you look at media reports of many these deaths, you'll find buried in the story that the actual cause of death isn't COVID-19, only that the person tested positive.

To be sure, any death is tragic- whatever the cause. But what is missing in this pandemic is a clear, jaundiced and scientifically skeptical eye looking at actual statistics and evidence- free from the clouding of emotionalism and bias toward a social or political agenda.

Anyone denouncing this view as 'cold' or 'uncaring' is doing a disservice to not only the 1000's affected by #COVID19, but also toward the 100's of millions worldwide who's lives have been disrupted or ruined by unwarranted hysteria. Protect the infected- but find the truth.

Postscript: I am considered as being in several 'High-Risk' groups for #COVID19. But I've never let my life be governed by fear of possibilities. I prefer to assess the possibilities and risks and live my life without emotionalism and fears generated by others. I won't start now.

Figures lie & liars figure. MSM breathlessly reported the US has the most COVID Deaths worldwide- but that's TOTAL deaths. We have 350 mln ppl. As a percentage of total pop (a much more accurate way to look at it) the US is far down the list.

The U of WA models that Governor Whitmer of #Michigan used (in large part) to impose the #MichiganLockdown have been revised downward. Again.

Any guesses when they will match reality, and not be inflated?
