What’s of note to pull out of the Chinese Study is when the drug was given. Within 5-10 days of contracting the virus. 
Even @ScottGottliebMD backs this up in an interview.
The WHO states the avg person takes 5-6 days to show symptoms.
Now add in the lack of testing and the potential slow rerun of results, you are certain to be out of the effective window for this drug.
We would like to add that if this drug had shown any real promise in China, they would have been all over it & forced ppl into the study.
