Another 1,100 Americans died of #COVID19 today (remember, the counts usually drop on Sundays due to reporting delays)

At least 68,600 Americans have died to date.

the U.S. CFR is now 5.8%. The case count has increased 20% over the past week. Fatalities have increased 24%.

NEW YORK: 986,000 tests completed in NY (5.1% of the population). The state will likely break 1 million tomorrow.

4,700 more New Yorkers tested positive today. 324,000 have tested positive to date (1.7% of the pop.).

280 more New Yorkers died today. 24,648 have died to date.

MICHIGAN (my home state): 218,000 tests completed on Michiganders.

547 more Michiganders tested positive today. 43,700 have tested positive to date.

29 more Michiganders died today...the lowest in a long time (again...it's a Sunday). Over 4,000 have died of #COVID to date.

OTHER:

--Rhode Island has tested 6.8% of their population, the highest in the nation

--Nebraska & Minnesota's caseloads rose by over 80% over the past week. South Dakota's death toll increased by 91% over the past week.
