#onenationonerationcard scheme will not be a cure to Migrants as govt. romanticise it. Instead, it may bring new tensions and chaos in unexpected way.

2. We cannot predict accumulation and food need of the population of a particular place, since we could not predict the moving labourers.
3. Since we dont know the moving population, we will not know their settlement area. So number of card holders / needer of a particular Ration shop is unknown, so we cannot ensure availability food to all.
4. Even if we predict moving population of migrants and their settlements, formulating supply based on that, its not permanant. So, demand will change seasonally. A often changing demand system could lead to corruption, inaccuracy and food availability issues.
5. This may turn a headache to permanent card holders. In PDS system we follow now, a card holder is pin to a particular shop. Even rental residents who changes houses are also pin to get their food from particular, already registered shop.
(5.a )Even with a new system permanent resident would like to continue with nearest / registered shop. If a sudden demand raise due to arrived population, it will affect permanent residents. Tension may raise between Residents vs Arrivers.
(5.b) Incase, if govt make avail of existing pin to particular shop system + new free to get from anywhere system that will also affect the demand chain. Even in normal situation Buying products from FPS will become 'First Come, First get' service, based on demand.
6. So by point 5, it may change the PDS from 'Distribution system' to demand base supply system. Possibly it will lead to close portion of FSP shops by labelling them as 'poor demand shops'.
7. One Nation, One card system may be useful to Salaried class workers, who are moving based on their job with family. Not to the poor as govt claims. Because, mostly poor labourers/ contract workers are not moving as family. So, How a family could help to separated individuals?
8. To ensure food to moving labourers we should enable proper board base registration system with very easy approach and regulation. That System should be on the policy of Distribution not demand.
