Hospitals suffered doctor and nurse shortages, many sacrificed their lives on the frontlines.
Many denied the epidemic existed and some came up with None-scientific remedies for it! Some blamed it on the enemies (Germany at the time).
A vaccine was made and distributed. Some schools and businesses opened while cases were hitting record numbers other states.
Telephone companies suffered shortages and urged people not use the telephone unless its absolutely necessary.
