Happy Black History Month. I am going to celebrate the month by highlighting the contributions of Black psychology and Black psychologists.
I remember reading Dr. Harriette Pipes McAdoo's work early in my career as a Black Studies and Psychology scholar. Her strengths-based approach to Black families and children helped shape a field.
