I generally do a 200m sprint before finishing my run. And the immediate after effect is just so therapeutic. I would like to experience that more in the rest of the day.
I went to Nanital for a cycling trip few years back. And the bicycle I was riding had a sticker on it which said "SHUT UP LEGS!!". I get reminded of that sticker a lot when I run.
I don't have much to share today. The more occupied I am during my day, the less meandering thoughts I get. Maybe that is the key to maintain the routine.
There will be down times and you will get sad. The point is to not avoid those times, the whole game is to reduce the recovery time after those down times.
Twitter has been an important ingredient of lockdown for me. I connected with amazing people, read some mind-blowing tweets which inspired me to do more things in my daily life.
Continuous 45 days of workout was a result of that.
