Also will share random thoughts along with the status.

I generally do a 200m sprint before finishing my run. And the immediate after effect is just so therapeutic. I would like to experience that more in the rest of the day.
+3 | #Running

I went to Nanital for a cycling trip few years back. And the bicycle I was riding had a sticker on it which said "SHUT UP LEGS!!". I get reminded of that sticker a lot when I run.

Nothing is permanent, so is the feel attached with every run. Every run is different so let's just focus on one run at a time.

I never thought I will look at a video and will work out along with that. But wait, I also never thought I will tweet about working out.

There is peace in this silence. I like it. And it requires persistence to maintain that peace. I wish that for all of us.

I don't have much to share today. The more occupied I am during my day, the less meandering thoughts I get. Maybe that is the key to maintain the routine.

I enjoy busy days.

I love giving structure to problems by breaking them into smaller subproblems. I have always enjoyed doing that.

Ironically, it never struck me that I can do that with my life goals.

It was a good and intense workout.

@BeCureFit You guys are awesome! Loved the workout.

Words and their meanings seem so simple when read in a dictionary. From this, one gets to KNOW the meaning not UNDERSTAND it.

To understand those meanings one needs to experience those words. One such word is "Vulnerability".

I have got like 1000s of incomplete thoughts in the last 15 mins. If I don't tweet the first thought I get, it is a spiral down from there.

I think the question to ponder is why don't I put the first thought I get.

When I was a kid, I practiced yoga for months to compete in a competition. But I never realised the importance of breathing while performing asanas.

Today, it was all about breathing. And it felt amazing.

"All good things take time and one should patiently wait for it", I have heard this multiple times.

I think instead of "patiently waiting", it should be "persistently waiting".

How aware are you of your day?

It doesn't come on its own.

#100DaysOfX #100daysoffitness

For now, I have been flexible with the timings of my workout. I will try to work on that in the next coming days.

A habit is formed when something is done repeatedly for decent amount of time.

I think I should stick to one particular workout for next 21 days now rather than doing a different workout everyday.

This is what I'll try now.

To wake up early, sleep early.

I have struggled with waking early for years. I think it is time to rephrase that to "I have struggled with sleeping early for years".

Every habit has a trigger. Trigger is something which makes u perform a habit w/o giving any conscious thought.

Having awareness about habits, doesn't mean knowing the actions a person performs. It is about knowing the triggers.

1. Things you know

2. Things you know that you don't know.

Or maybe I should precisely think through those patterns first.

Twitter has been an important ingredient of lockdown for me. I connected with amazing people, read some mind-blowing tweets which inspired me to do more things in my daily life.

Continuous 45 days of workout was a result of that.

@BeCureFit Thanks. Amazing workouts

Exploring India’s unorganised sector 👇

The time you’ll spend reading this thread, people would have traded items worth tens of crores in Azadpur Mandi, Delhi.

Azadpur Mandi is the Asia’s largest wholesale market for fruits & vegetables. This is how it looks like at 4 am👇
These are the people you’ll meet there 👇

Wholesalers, referred to as Seth ji.

Buyers are generally other small wholesalers or retailers.

Farmers who are there to sell their fruits & veggies to the wholesalers.

Also you’ll find a lot of people whole handle transportation
The products are sold generally via an auction.

You’ll find sellers doing small auctions where they’ll start with a price and then keep lowering it till one of the buyers agrees to it.

Life lessons I learnt in a Casino.

In 2018, I went to casino thrice. I spent ~ 2 months learning BlackJack and lost $1k in cash totally. However, it surely was a life time experience and I definitely learned few lessons.

A THREAD ....
Follow a set gameplay. No matter what you are trying to do, there are people who have tried similar things in the past. And most importantly they have written about it. Learn from them.
Don’t trust your intuition. It will always be easier and comfortable to rely on intuition than to research about things. Since intuition is personal, it makes us more emotional and less rational.

#MachineLearning for beginners.

"Whenever you throw a ball, you want the kid to catch it". Let's say this is what you are trying to teach a kid.

So you go to the kid and tell them "Whenever I throw the ball, you have to catch it"

The kid agrees.

(1/4)

(2/4) Now let's say a third person comes and throws the ball to that kid.

Do you think the kid will catch it?
If the kid was programmed the way we have traditionally been writing code, the kid wouldn't have caught the ball.

This is because the rule that was taught to the kid was that YOU need to throw the ball. But here somebody else threw it.

These were RULE BASED SYSTEMS.

100 days of no break workout. I will tweet once a day on this thread after the workout.

It worked out pretty well for me last time. Hope to keep the momentum and consistency.

I love the "Divide and Conquer" algorithm. It can be applied to most of the things in life.

I think instead of saying "Look at the bigger picture", we should consider rephrasing it to "Look at the smaller parts of the bigger picture"

While communicating always be mindful of the 2 things : advocacy & inquiry.

The more you inquire in a conversation, the better it will be.

What do you think is the most important skill for inquiring?

This team is majorly responsible for requirement gathering, product specifications, and they closely work with the design team (UI/UX) to create workflows of the product.

Once the workflows and designs are ready, it is transferred to dev team.

Development Team

These guys break down the entire workflows into smaller parts. After that, coding starts and they build those workflows.

The development team comprises of backend devs, frontend web devs and mobile devs.

@warikoo Here is GPT3 trained on the life lessons you tweeted. And it has generated some of the lessons based on that. Do you think these would ever have been the thoughts you would have tweeted about?

Check out the text generated in the below thread.
"The purpose of relationships is not to make you happy. It's to teach you how to be happy alone. Relationships are not made to last. They are made to make you learn the right lessons. And if you are not learning, you are failing" - #GPT3
"It's easier to complain about the things you don't have, than to appreciate the things you do" - #GPT3
