While Indian Army's official statement has already confirmed 3 KIA including the CO of the Battalion manning the LAC at #GalwanValley, there are unconfirmed reports coming that the PLA has suffered 4 or 5 casualties. We will have to wait for an official statement from CCP.
Though there is no doubt that China also has had their soldiers KIA. But exact nature of deaths and injuries not officially confirmed.

If these numbers are correct, we are looking at another Nathu La like incidence. Question is how will India retaliate. This cannot go unanswered now, given the recent history of Indian stance vis-a-vis other borders.

We lost 20 Soldiers in #GalwanValley today and the number may go up. This is just a number for most of us, but not for those 20 families.

Of the PLA soldiers, this we cannot let this bury here now. Otherwise China will again preempt India next time. We need to ensure now that we create deterrence against China's constant creeping in India's domain, geographical or otherwise.

Another detailed account onnwhat might have happened in the #GalwanValley in last couple of days. Once the CO was attacked by the PLA troops all bets were off from the Indian side.

A CO who led from the front and his subordinates, in his absence, attacking an enemy post even when outnumbered 1:5 that too for a hand-to hand combat and still manage to inflict severe damage by imposing 50-60 casualites speaks very highly of the Valour of the 16 Bihar Regiment
Latest Sat Imagery showing Chinese build up in #GalwanValley. Going by the width of the valley seen here, this is far East of the LAC, well inside the China Occupied territory (which is rightfully Indian).

"No Soldier is unaccounted for". Hopefully that means no hostages either. So we know exactly how many injured and KIA. Keep praying for the recovery of the injured ones. I dearly wish the number doesn't go beyond 20 now.
