3/In major cities across the US there were massive protests but only in #RVA did they last for three entire weeks. Stoney told police to stand down, further driving businesses and jobs out if the city of Richmond.

4/Businesses & jobs have fled #RVA under Stoney, altho I’ve written widely about the real culprit, who stripped the economic engine around the @VABiotechPark HUBZONE. That stripped middle classjobs out of RVA, they’re all moving to the counties. Crime is why& Stoney management
5/ Everyone’s leaving #RVA & after 48 years, I’m finally going too. Standing at Lee Monument June 6 watching Stoney with protesters,the crowd booed, someone threw a bag of ‘s**t’ at him, landing against his blue shoes. He began trembling, crying & had police stand down.
6/The threeweeks of continuous riots are just too much. I’ve watched #RVA during 70s when white flight ensued due to drugs & crime.80s crack cocaine & gun trafficking till @GovernorWilder brought order, passed 1gun/mo & @VCUpresident Trani got @VABiotechPark & #HUBZONE downtown.
7/ From 90 to 2015 we had a downtown renaissance, Historic LandmarkRegistry & tax incentives brought people back into #RVA , healthy energetic vibe, Obamas came to town, but starting in 2016, with McAuliffe budget, funding & people stripped from @VCUresearch moved to pls donors
8/But with all those resources went at least 10000 jobs, then the labs depending on research moved to counties too, 2000 more last year. By 2020 #RVA is decimated, no jobs, crime & guns return. In 4 years, 30 years of hard work & progress eviscerated, abolished. How we got here.
