The #COVID19 pandemic shows that an interconnected 🌍 needs global level crisis management. We need a strong, efficient, transparent & accountable WHO today more than ever. 🇩🇪 will do its part to give the WHO political, financial & technical backing that is needed.

We are standing together to fight global health problems. We are convinced that in a pandemic you have to react on natl. level, but to coordinate the reaction internationally & with partners around you. Isolated natl. answers to intl. problems are doomed to fail.

I would like to reaffirm the support of 🇫🇷 as well as Franco-German support for a WHO with a multilateral and global structure. WHO is an indispensable tool in the fight against the spread of diseases, as we can see during this #COVID19 pandemic.
