Islamic extremist attacks by Pakistani #jihadists in Kashmir, India:

THE FACTS:

Since the independence of India and the split between the Republic of India and the Islamic State of Pakistan, the region of Jammu and Kashmir has been in turmoil.

Located right on the border of India and Pakistan, this region legally belongs to #India - #Pakistan, however, has violently disputed this since the two countries separated in 1947 upon independence from Britain.

As a result, Kashmir and Jammu have taken the brunt of political and religious turmoil. For 30+ years, #jihadist terror attacks have become a terrifyingly normal part of life for those living in Kashmir. 

Despite the attacks, #India has defended their democracy.

The attacks in Kashmir and Jammu stem directly from radicals located throughout Pakistan, particularly places like Islamabad. Mr. Skandar states that the attacks are conducted by Pakistani #terrorist groups, specifically:

-Jaish-e-Mohammad

-Lashkar-e-Taiba

-Hizbul-Mujahideen

- Al-Badar (aka Al Badr)

Al Skandar states these groups are directly responsible for planning and executing attacks on Jammu and #Kashmi & killing thousands of civilians & security officers.

BOTTOM LINE:

For over 30 years, thousands of innocent civilians have died at the hands of separationists jihad attacks.

Attacks can include suicide bombings, armed attacks, assasinations, kidnappings, and senseless mob-violence against general individuals within Kashmir.
