Storm Corps. It is a special forces unit of North Korea that is good at mountain warfare, night battle, rear disturbance, etc., which is also known as the 11th corps of the Korean People's Army.
Last month, a soldier was dispatched to the border areas of North Hamgyong Province and Ryanggang Province, but it is believed that the purpose is to strengthen border security as a countermeasure against the new coronavirus and
to monitor the working conditions of the border guard. A soldier with such a storm corps temporarily defected for criminal purposes. The US government-affiliated Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported. A soldier from the Storm Corps, who was sent to Ryanggang to guard the border,
suddenly disappeared during the night's working hours, according to a military official who demanded anonymity. A few hours later, he was found by a border guard when he returned, was arrested, and was handed over to the military security department (secret police).
A physical examination after the arrest revealed that he had 500 yuan in cash (€61.75 / $73.16) and two cartons of Chinese Changbaishan brand cigarettes. During interrogation, the soldier confessed that he had secretly crossed the border into China for robbery.
Sources have not mentioned motives, such as whether they were hungry due to lack of supply, or whether they could not suppress their curiosity and creativity when they first saw China, which is far richer than North Korea.
In the past, the Chinese side of the China-North Korea border area had a series of violent crimes by North Korean defectors. In December 2014, a North Korean soldier broke into a private house in a village in Helong City, Jilin Province, killing four people,
robbing them of money and running away. In April 2015, a North Korean soldier committed a murder-robbery in the same city of Helong. Even if they aren't robbed, they come to a cafeteria along the river to ask for food, beer, and cigarettes.
If you refuse, you will be harassed, so the owner of the cafeteria responded. Residents of Ryanggang say that crossing the border of a river width less than a kilometer for specially trained soldiers is just before breakfast, and if the local circumstances and
geography become brighter, more soldiers will defect. The case was reported centrally through the Ministry of State Security. Soldiers were to be quarantined for 60 days, regardless of whether they were infected with the new coronavirus,
according to instructions from the Central Epidemic Prevention Command in Northkorea. After the quarantine period is over, severe punishment will be imposed, including the commander of the unit.

The subdued economic outlook for the Fed, on the other hand, was less well received by the market. According to the Bloomberg news agency, the Fed fueled the flight to “safe havens”, which hurt one currency in particular -
the Turkish lira. The US Federal Reserve made it clear on Wednesday evening that it would not touch interest rates until the end of 2023. The lira recently continued its most recent series of losses against the US dollar.
On Thursday the rate fell to 7.5574 lira per dollar, making the Turkish currency cheaper than ever against the American greenback. The lira had lost against the dollar on 13 of the last 14 trading days. The decline continued on Friday, albeit more slowly.

The website of the coastal resort shows a luxurious holiday complex with a golf course, a hotel casino with a Greek pillar aesthetic and a helicopter landing pad.
But reports from the past few years suggest that the complex in the Cambodian town of Dara Sakor hardly attracts visitors and that the hotel was in need of renovation after just a few years.
But although the large-scale project on a remote stretch of coast in the poor Southeast Asian country appears to be a flop, it has drawn interest from the United States for some time.

Russia has provisionally approved the world's first corona vaccine with the name "Sputnik V", but now there are doubts about the data. According to critics, some study results seem as if the developers had helped with Photoshop.
In an urgent procedure, Russia approved "Sputnik V" as the first corona vaccine worldwide for broad use, although the agent has hardly been tested in clinical studies to date.
Respected researchers from several countries are questioning the authenticity of the data that their Russian colleagues presented in the @TheLancet journal at the beginning of September as evidence of the vaccine's effectiveness. It is about the suspicion of clumsy manipulation.

Yerevan April 28, 2020. The 28-year-old, known by her first name in Armenia, is the first transsexual to speak in parliament. "People like me are being tortured, raped, kidnapped, burned, and attacked in this country."
Her speech takes less than three minutes. Soberly and with numbers, she describes the discrimination and persecution of people with a deviant sexual identity in the Caucasian country. What follows is a wave of hatred and threats that collapses over Lilit.
The session leader in parliament, Naira Zohrabyan, accuses Lilit of "disregarding the agenda" and "disrespect". Shortly afterwards, the first hateful messages and death threats appear on Lilit's Facebook page. Someone publishes the address of their apartment on the Internet.

More than 25,000 people live in overcrowded refugee camps on the Aegean islands of Leros, Samos, Lesbos, Kos and Chios.
Many millions of euros and specialists such as the technical relief organization are available to help. But the local authorities seem to be undermining the projects. According to a media report,
foreign aid for migrants housed in Greece is being made considerably more difficult by local authorities. As a report says, a project of the Technical Relief Organization (THW) failed in March because of "political problems".
