🟡LET THE FACTS BE CLEAR
Read the letter by 123 #MEK members and former Prisoners of War ncr-iran.org/en/news/letter… to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, of repeated defamations by @bbcpersian quoting MOIS agents as well as inviting UN Special Rapporteur to visit Ashraf-3
We write to inform you of the continuous harassment and psychological torture by the religious fascism ruling #Iran also its intel services and media against us and our families.
We urge you to assign .@JavaidRehman to meet with us in Albania as PoWs.
We were PoW during 1980s, in the Iran-Iraq war. After the war we decided freely to join the National Liberation Army of Iran/The People's Mojahedin Org #MEK.
The Int'l Committee for the Red Cross @ICRC used to meet us regularly. Last call was on Sept 16, 1992
We have recently been informed by our relatives that the Ministry of Intel & Security (MOIS) through utilizing its agents under the guise of former PoWs who used to be with #MEK/PMOI, intend to initiate a new wave of psychological torture against us and exert pressure.
They include, Edward Tormadovian who is in Germany also Gholamali Mirzaie, Ali Hajari, and Abdolrahman Mohammadian who are in Albania. Their aim is to make trouble for our families and friends in #Iran by disseminating lies through @bbcpersian services.
BBC Persian Services is notorious among the Iranian people because of its biased reporting in the past 4 decades, which explains why Iranians call it "#AyatollahBBC". Gholamali Mirzaie was used by BBC against us previously in Nov 2019, in which we protested against.
Yet, BBC did not report any of the denials or letters by the American & European dignitaries.
According to 2 different rulings by a German court in Mar 2019 + Jun 2020, Der Spiegel and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung were ordered to remove slanders against our movement.
Or face 6 months in prison or pay a fine of 250,000 euros. Both publications complied with the court orders immediately.
The demonization campaign targeting our honor and dignity is a vivid case of psychological torture and violation of our most rudimentary rights #AyatollahBBC
It also sets the stage for terrorist operations against the PMOI and Ashraf-3. We call upon you @mbachelet to condemn the Iranian regime for trampling our #HumanRights
After Nov uprising, the regime has stepped up its demonization campaign and terror plots iran-efshagari.com/wp-content/upl…
Last April, despite the massive spread of #COVID19 in Iran, the regime conjured up a petition by 11,000 people under the cover of PMOI relative in #Tehran, addressed to the Albanian Prime Minister. It claimed that we were kept here against our will...
