Several people are tweeting at me saying there is no #HumanRights in #China, if there is, then show me the proof! 😡you want proof, well then let’s go! A thread...
In #China people don’t have to worry about walking on the streets at night and getting shot, mugged, stabbed, or raped. China remains one of the safest countries in the world! How about the fact that
#China hasn’t been in a war since 1979? Instead of allocating >50% of national budget to military #America, China spends its money on reinvesting back into its country to help its citizens, the results? 700 million lifted out of poverty, and poverty to be eliminated end of year..
Does #China have less freedom than #America? sure it does...you can’t #vote for the president in China or own a gun, but you want to know a secret? #Chinese people have faith in their government and could care less about owning a gun, look at #COVID19 for example, China enforced
The strictest policies during the pandemic, they were criticized by every Western country for their “draconian measures” but their discipline and sacrifice is paying off, #China economy will grow in #2020worstyear meanwhile #America is still dealing with 1st wave...
#Chinese citizens travel the world (150 million trips overseas last year, most in the world) and are responsible for 90% of the growth in luxury retail. Stop pretending that Chinese are slaves, just go to China and interact with the people, they are so proud of their country and
what they have been able to accomplish the last 30 years. Is #China perfect? Of course not, but Western Media portrays China like it is North Korea, and Western journalists scratch their head and wonder why they get kicked out of the country 🤔 it amazes the ignorance of these
Western journalists....”I keep writing bad things about China, while I’m living in China, but somehow Chinese people don’t like me?”...what a wasted opportunity, but Cyrus...what about #HongKong? Well let’s see
Hong Kong was destroyed by violent rioters who colluded with foreign governments, let’s imagine Chinese gov officials were traveling to Portland to aid rioters in America, how do you think that would go down in America?...nope not a chance! So why is there a double standard?
Bottom line, you can’t compare China’s freedom with America, it’s a different culture. Chinese don’t value the same things as Americans, freedom means different things to different people, want to learn more? check out this YouTube video I made...
Final note...#America cannot provide basic safety for its citizens, without safety, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS...this is the most basic fundamental #HumanRights until America can provide this to its own citizens I don’t think they have any seat at the table to criticize other countries

The @nytimes has finally published an objective piece on China that reveals the truth about America's relationship with the Middle Kingdom. While every day US politicians preach the message of "decoupling" from China here is why there is ZERO chance this will ever happen. A thread 👇
Ford CEO Jim Farley recently visited China and upon his return to the US he wrote a report showcasing how much more advanced Chinese EVs are to Western brands and that legacy Western automakers face an "extensional threat" in China.
This threat of course is simply China producing better quality cars at lower prices. Ford literally has zero chance at competing. Ford has predicted it will lose around $5 billion on its electric vehicle operations in 2024.
Last night a new Patreon supporter sent me an email sharing his view on the 🇺🇸🇨🇳 relationship. This is the BEST insight into the current status of the US/China relationship you will find: (1/14)
"I am happy to introduce myself and share my appreciation (beyond the Patreon pledge) for what you are trying to do on YouTube. I share many of your concerns of where things are headed and I really hope what you do can make a difference (2/14)
I am an immigrant to the 🇺🇸 originally from 🇨🇳. I came here as a student more than 10 years ago, in pursuit of a better education & life. I am also deeply in love with 🇺🇸 culture, the optimism, & the general open-mindedness & a healthy willingness to challenge authority. (3/14)
I've had many fans reach out and ask "Cyrus, why does America have so many mass shootings? The answer is actually quite simple but let's break it down in a thread explaining why mass shootings will NEVER stop in 🇺🇸:
The first thing we need to address is the mass shootings are almost always the result of mental health problems. Mental health problems have skyrocketed around the world, no country is immune from this, whether it's USA, China, or any other country in the 🌎
I'm an American who lived abroad for 15 years in both China and Canada. In China, private gun ownership doesn't exist therefore mass shootings doesn't exist. In Canada, gun laws are extremely strict and gun sales controlled by government therefore mass shootings doesn't exist. 👇
This is what building bridges between the 🇺🇸 & 🇨🇳 looks like. Last week my wife and I were invited to my daughter’s first grade class room to teach the students about #ChineseNewYear my wife went to @Target and bought each student a lantern making kit and we read the students
a book explaining the importance of #ChineseNewYear and also gave each student a 红包🧧 with a piece of chocolate 🍫 inside 😃 my daughter’s teacher was blown away! She was so excited to learn about CNY and promote diversity and understanding of China’s beautiful culture
My daughter is the only student in her class born outside of America (she was born in Hong Kong) my daughter’s friends think it is so amazing she was born in China and speaks Chinese. It is such an honor to help people understand #China and promote a better 🇺🇸🇨🇳 relations
What's going on in #Zhengzhou and the Foxconn factory? Is it a #Zerocovid protest or a labor dispute? Let's break it down...Full thread 🧵
Foxconn said that “some new hires” at the Zhengzhou campus had complained to the company about work allowances. It seems the major problem here is compensation that was promised but not delivered.
One former worker said that the terms of a “retention allowance”, which had been promised to new employees who stay at the plant until February 15, 2023 had been changed, according to reports. Workers now need to stay until March 15 to receive the bonus - an extra month.
