The Royal Navy's new #CarrierStrikeGroup has assembled for the first time. @HMSQNLZ has been joined by eight other ships in the North Sea, marking the beginning of a new era of operations.

The #CarrierStrikeGroup includes destroyers @HMSDefender and @hmsdiamond, frigates @HMSNORT and @hms_kent, RFA ships @RFATideforce and @RFAFortVictoria as well as the @USNavy's USS The Sullivans and @kon_marine's HNLMS Evertsen 
It also includes 15 F-35 Lightning jets from @OC617Sqn and @USMC and 11 helicopters from #FleetAirArm.
