Committed to upholding the rules-based international order, underpinned by the rule of law, transparency, freedom of navigation, respect for territorial integrity & sovereignty and peaceful resolution of disputes.
Look forward to the discussions today on connectivity and infrastructure development, terrorism, cyber & maritime security and stability and prosperity in the region.

•How long would a country have to wait particularly when the transformational changes happening in that country affect a large part of the world?
•With the changing times,if we don’t change,then the drive needed to bring change will also get weakened.

•India has always thought abt the interests of the whole humankind & not abt its own vested interests.This philosophy has always been the driving force of India's policies

Thank my #ASEAN colleagues for a productive meeting of India-ASEAN Foreign Ministers. Particularly appreciate the leadership of my co-chair DPM& FM Don Pramudwinai of Thailand.

Reviewed the progress in the political-security, economic & socio-cultural pillars of our cooperation ImageImage
Agreed on a new Plan of Action for 2021-2025.

Discussed cooperation in the post-COVID world, including in vaccine production, digitisation, economic recovery and mobility. Will shape a more contemporary agenda for this partnership.
Exchanged views on regional and international issues:

•Underlined the compatibility of ASEAN Outlook on Indo-Pacific and India’s vision for the Indo-Pacific and the Indo-Pacific Ocean’s Initiative.

•Highlighted the metaphorical & literal centrality of ASEAN in Indo-Pacific
