Earlier, civilians evacuated from Nad Ali district of Helmand province in #Afghanistan as heavy fighting between the #ANDSF and the #Taliban raged on. It is feared that the district could eventually fall to the Taliban.

Over 5000 families have been displaced in Helmand province, #Afghanistan as heavy fighting between the #ANDSF & the #Taliban continue. The Talib have reportedly taken over a dozen check points in central Helmand & there have been reports of civ casualties.
