Americans are not free.

No one is. We are ALL - rich & poor, high & low IQ alike, & whatever your race - enslaved to Big Brother & the Matrix of state & capital.

The rich & rich enough feel free, because they can buy whatever they need or want, but they are not truly free.

The freedom of the wealthy is costing the Earth, because produced by a growth-dependent, grossly materialistic, mercenary, rapacious & driven global economy that is inherently unsustainable on our finite, vulnerable & overpopulated planet, #SpaceshipEarth.

I remember us being warned about this back in the early 1970s, esp. in E. F. Schumacher's book, Small is Beautiful.

I was a young man at the time & assumed that our leaders would face up to this existential threat to our survival & initiate a #SustainabilityRevolution.

Instead, they went into collective denial, just as many did for a long time in regard to #climatechange - which is just a symptom of this economy.

Denying climate change is no longer tenable, but the inherent non-sustainability of our economy & method of wealth creation is.

This economy originated in the West, where my own country, Great Britain, played a central role.

It is driving us to #ecocide & civilisational suicide.

We assume that our civilisation, like the Titanic, is unsinkable, but it's not, & we are heading towards that iceberg NOW.

If our leaders had faced up to reality 40 years ago, we would be in a very different situation now, but they didn't, & still aren't.

Many assume it is now too late & that civilisational suicide is inevitable.

They may be right, but I think we should at least TRY to avoid it.

It took a few years for me comprehend that our leaders really were not going to face up to the existential need for a #SustainabilityRevolution. It just didn't seem credible, was too insane. Only, it was true, so I put my mind to trying to understand their blindness.

While working on this, another expression of our leaders blindness & madness forced itself on my attention in the form of changing demographics.

I was born in 1949 into the London suburb of Wembley, which at the time was virtually 100% White. It is now less than 20% White.

My experience of changing demographics is extreme & exceptional, of course. Native (White) Britons will not become a minority (<50%) in the UK as a whole until after I am dead & gone, in the 2nd half of this century.

But that is STILL insane!

So, we are not just committing ecocide & civilisational suicide, but also White self-genocide. The connection between the first two is obvious, while their connection to the third requires a deeper understanding of our situation, which I elaborate on in the following thread.

Returning to E F Schuhmacher, who warned us about the non-sustainability of consumer capitalism back in the 1970s & might have saved us from committing civilisational suicide: he was German.

I can't help wondering if it's a coincidence that Germany gave us him AND Adolf Hitler.

If we commit civilisational suicide - as we are firmly on course to do - it will, in no small measure, be because of the overreaction to the evils of Nazism, which has prevented academics from developing a realistic, evo-socio-biological understanding of ourselves & civilisation.

What academics have been prevented from doing, I have succeeded in doing; or at least, in making a significant start in doing.

The insights I have gained were bought at the cost of making something of a scatterbrain of me (that's my excuse, anyway). Thus, no book. Only tweets.

I invite everyone to join my attempt at putting an end to ecocide, civilisational suicide & White self-genocide, which I focus on, not just because it is my own race, but also because it is both creator & destroyer of western civilisation. If we (Whites) go, everyone goes.

It's a truism that you can't love others without also loving yourself. The same applies to RACE, which is the ultimate limit of kinship, which begins with the nuclear family, passing through tribe & nation, none of which exist anymore, because destroyed long ago by the state.

It is imperative this is understood (esp. by academics), if we are to finally initiate the #SustainabilityRevolution on which our very survival depends.

Because of the authority vested in them, collectively, academics wield immense power.

So too, collectively, do the wealthy.

Politicians are hamstrung, in democracies, by their role as acting patrons for millions client citizens, institutions & corporations.

The masses, non-wealthy, ordinary people, are powerless.

Thus, my special appeal to academics, intellectuals & the wealthy to join my cause.

Ultimately we are ALL ordinary people, of course, who as individuals are powerless. As already explained, the freedom & power of the wealthy (people like #BillGates) is contingent on their own enslavement to Big Brother & the Matrix of state & capital.

But money is still POWER.

And POWER can be used for both good & evil.

It is the desire for power (esp. in the form of money) that corrupts evolved human nature & society & is responsible for the dire situation we are now in. Gates's current attempts to do good with his money are ultimately in vain.
