Like the #EndSARS protests of today that @AishaYesufu is visibly part of, they tagged their protests 'salvation rally'. Their goal then was to draw global attention to the hijack of @PoliceNG by the @OfficialPDPNig govt, piloted by Jonathan.
Essentially, General @MBuhari, @elrufai, Lai Mohammed, Oyegun and others marched to raise a clarion call against the increasing spate of insecurity, corruption, killings, and @PoliceNG brutality, as Aisha and many others are doing today.
Mind you, General @MBuhari and his foot soldiers were not stopped, harassed, threatened, or killed. No one raised an army of paid thugs and hoodlums to attack them in order to dismantle their strategy/structure.
General @MBuhari is a muslim, @elrufai is a muslim, Lai Mohammed is a muslim...I didn't see MURIC, Kannywood, or any of you religious bigots, threatened these people and neither did you call their protest 'haram'.
What exactly in your psychopathic mind, made the protests organised and led by @MBuhari, @elrufai and Lai Mohammed worthy of your Islam, and that which Aisha Yesufu is part of, a haram?
Threat to life is a grievous crime/offence - those Kannywood actors and actresses (Sani and Zainab), and all others calling for Northerners to attack and kill Aisha Yesufu should immediately be arrested and prosecuted. @PoliceNG
You are a hypocrite, a bigot, and one of the many problems we have in Nigeria if you saw nothing wrong with General @MBuhari's protest of 2014 on same issue of police brutality, but now see something wrong in Aisha #EndSARS protest.
Senator Ali Ndume said on @channelstv, that the salaries of lawmakers in Nigeria have no effect on the economy whatsoever. That how can Nigerians be complaining of Senators' salary in a budget of N13tn?
Ndume didn't stop there, he challenged us, said we should go and check if any lawmaker is wealthy after leaving the National Assembly either as a Senator or an Honourable member.
To further buttress his point and consolidate his narrative, Ndume said he joined the NASS in 2003 and since then, his lifestyle(wealth to be specific), has not changed.
I seriously didn't want to tweet today. I wanted @MBuhari and his people to 'dey their dey so I can dey my day'. But, @AishaYesufu's video provoked me.
I don't get it, how are you not sad that Nigeria is still a crawling child after 60 years of existence? How?
After 60 years of independence, we still struggle with power supply, with bad roads, with poor education system, with corruption, with healthcare system, et al.
Why? Why make excuses for incompetence and ineptitude? Why make excuses for failure?
Kemi Adeosun @HMKemiAdeosun skipped NYSC service, forged the Commission's Certificate, got disowned by the Commission after she was exposed by @PremiumTimesng but till this moment, neither @MBuhari nor @ProfOsinbajo is willing to bring her to book. #RedefineNigeria
Tomorrow will make it 50 days since Kemi Adeosun @HMKemiAdeosun was exposed, 50 days for which she has remained the Minister of Finance, signing away our collective patrimony to her enabler and paymaster. #RedefineNigeria
Lai Mohammed has spoken on Kemi Adeosun's certificate forgery scandal and we heard him loud and clear. According to him, President @MBuhari cannot fire her because her accuser @PremiumTimesng are yet to substantiate their claim. #RedefineNigeria
