Just received the strangest voter intimidation/harassment call I've ever gotten.
Guy from Lakeland, Florida calls me up, starts asking about the election. I assume it's a standard phone banker. I explain I've already voted so he can move on to someone else. 1/

Instead, he starts asking *me* for info about Biden & Harris. He's supposedly "undecided" and wants to know why he should vote for Biden v. Trump.
I ask how he got my number (again, assuming it's part of a phone banking database), he says that my number was "on the internet". 2/

At this point I know for sure something's up. I probe him a bit further--he claims he "just googled it" and my number came up because I'm "the chair of the Democrat Party".
I'm the chair of a *local* Democratic *club* (and even then, my phone number isn't on our website). 3/

I decide to play along a bit. He still wants to know why *he* should vote for Biden. I start off pointing out 9M infected, 230K dead from COVID which he failed to do a damned thing about.
He responds "but he (Trump) got it & survived himself, so you can't put that on him". 4/

He then asks whether Michigan "supports Trump". I note that MI voted *narrowly* for Trump in 2016. He claims that "yeah, but Hillary was disgusting, what happened to all her emails? I heard she acid-washed them!"
At this point I've grown weary of the game. 5/

I *politely* thank him, tell him to have a nice day and hang up.
He immediately calls back 3 more times. I block the number.
I've already called @866OURVOTE and reported it, including giving them "Jim's" phone number for their database. 6/

It never really got to any actual "intimidation", but the way the exchange was going, plus the 3 additional call attempts made it clear that's where it was heading.
No idea if I was targeted personally or if others are getting similar calls throughout MI, but keep a lookout. 7/

Anyway, between crap like this and MAGA dickheads trying to run the #BidenBus off the road in Texas, the next 4 days are gonna be quite the rollercoaster.
