Information warfare continues. Thread. Republican voters are bombarded with readymade meals served by Putin's chef Prigozhin's troll factories and their affiliates. There are 1) "copy and paste" ready sentiments #disinformation #Elections2020
2) Anti-Biden, anti-Democrats, anti-democracy, "Soros", "Satan", anti-antifa, "COVID is a hoax", "pedophilia" themed memes and posts injected into Russian-speaking FB groups and spreading to the common information space.
3) A Facebook group hashtag Stop the Steal that spread election misinformation and incited violence grew to 350,000 members and FB shut it down. Russia Today(RT) hissed. Hashtag, posts and memes are still floating around
To be continued--ongoing thread.
4) Off FB, Trump's campaign is inciting discord elsewhere NOW. Supported by his base on Parler. It might be invisible to us but we must be aware.

3. These days, newspapers, tabloids and social media are all weaponized and used to inject the message into the public space. A false accusation is produced, visceral images (visual/verbal) are used, often with graphic sexual content, as in the case with Hunter Biden's laptop.

"Russia meddles with their brains, and they don’t know what to do with this altered state of mind.” The Kremlin is waging information warfare: corroding the idea of democracy and planting new pro-Kremlin thinking. The battlefield is the brain.
The goal is sowing discord and confusion in order to demoralize the West. Words are a military arsenal. Language is a weapon of mass destruction of ideas. This is the war of narratives. Trump's and Kremlin's narrative: Democracy is dead and elections are rigged.
