Barr’s direction upends DOJ rule saying prosecutors should NOT launch voter fraud investigations until after election results are certified. That guidance was designed to ensure that voters & state & local election officials—NOT the federal government—decide the election results.

Barr authorized prosecutors to open voter fraud investigations after Lindsey Graham wrote to him & FBI Dir Wray urging they investigate claims by a postal worker in Erie, Pennsylvania (which Biden flipped) that there was “mishandling of mail-in ballots by postal supervisors.”
Take Barr's move seriously. Together with Republicans' pushing Trump's election fraud lie & denying Biden's victory, they aren't just sowing doubt in the election. They're laying the predicate to appoint Trump electors in PA, MI, WI & GA. We can't let them subvert our election.
