The Kerala High Court is shortly expected to pass orders in the #Youtuber assault case. #bhagyalakshmi
Three women, Malayalam film industry dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi, and two others, Sajna N.S. (Diya Sana) and Sreelakshmi Arackal approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail in a case registered for assaulting controversial YouTuber Vijay P Nair.

The three rushed to his home and poured ink and nettle oil over him in response to an offensive video uploaded by Nair on his channel.

In the video, Nair made derogatory remarks against one of the women and offensive remarks against 'feminists' in general.
The women claim that they were forced to take action against him after their complaints to the authorities yielded no response.
The lower court they had initially approached, the Prosecution, and interestingly, Nair himself have argued that the women ought not to have taken the matter into their own hands.

#DelhiHighCourt says that hearing in Mohit Saraf v. Luthra is not possible today because of an administrative meeting.

Asks Senior Advocate Parag Tripathi (for Saraf) if he can argue tomorrow. Tripathi asks if it can be taken up on Thursday.
Adv Raghvendra Singh asks if written submissions can be filed by both sides so that time taken to make submissions can be cut down.

Court: If time limit is fixed, and supplemented by written submissions, should be no problem.

TN Govt informs #MadrasHighCourt that permission to conduct #VelYatra by @BJP4TamilNadu was rejected against citing various reasons including that they have not respected rule of law

HC has granted liberty to challenge the rejection of permission and kept the main matter pending
AG Vijay Narayan submitted that processions were carried out in violation of COVID-19 norms despite a ban on processions. A COVID-19 GO places a ban on processions till Nov 30. He is prepared to argue on the validity of the GO, AG added.
