Has anyone thought about this #COVID reality. People are going to work with a fever hoping it's not anything serious - because they don't have any sick time left, there is no support and they are broke.

This is an epic failure of government.

@RepJimmyPannetta, my rep. in Cali

D20 makes approx. $200,000+ total compensation per year. He has never had to work for anything. Just show up. His wife was given a second judgeship by @JerryBrownGov in what Brown described as "unusual" (but did it anyway) and she makes over $200,000 a year in total comp.
3/

Jimmy's dad, the "great" Leon Panetta has made millions off his name and his time as CIA Dir., SecDef, and COS to Bill Clinton.

Leon is 81 years old and 5 years ago the guy buying up all of #Malibu on PCH, Oracle founder Larry Ellison, gave Leon a board seat worth
4/

$436,000 per year with generous stock options that have added $4,000,000 to the Panetta's piggy bank.

When the Navy Seals, other services, the Intel Community on the ground and foreign Intel Services and their vast unsung hero staff took out Bin Laden at the order of
5/

President @BarackObama (a good call) Leon came back to #CanneryRow #Monterey to pop a $10,000 bottle wine with about 26 others - including - @JimmyPanetta. This while Jimmy was working as a Monterey County district attorney.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg.
6/

Jimmy Panetta hired Plasha Will, a sleazy political consultant, originally from Virginia, who got her start with a sleazier Sam Farr, the former US Congressman. While Panetta is a former Republican, Sam Farr was not. But his dad had a lot of friends in the communist party in
7/

Los Angeles way, way, way back.

Sam Farr never had a tough gig in his life either and traded off his father's name. He's rich.

Plasha Will then took on Jimmy and other sleazy politicians in Monterey County like

1. John Phillips a Trump loving Republican.

2. Dave Potter,
8/

a multi-millionaire but always on the verge of bankruptcy & former County Supe, turned Mayor of Carmel. You know, where Clint "talk to the chair" Eastwood was Mayor.

3. Dennis Donohue, a former Mayor of Salinas who had such serious ethical issues he put his house in his
9/

wife's name because, allegedly, he was worried about a criminal and civil investigation as he was being sued by a hotel developer for allegedly steering a signed deal to his buddy, billionaire produce Giant, Bruce Taylor, of @YourTaylorFarms.

Dennis quit being Mayor, left
10/

his wife's produce firm where he had a cushy job for decades to work for?

Bruce Taylor.

4. #Salinas Valley Leadership Group a conservative leaning PAC formed by land use attorney (and former Cannery Row attorney) * Brian Finegan and Construction $50 millionaire Don Chapin.
11/

The preceding list is a short list of all the public officials @JimmyPanetta's consultant Plasha Will has worked for.

Plasha is now working a side hustle, because, you know, money. Through her firm Political Frameworks and in conjunction with #Carmel Mayor Dave Potter
12/

Consulting. The two have formed a marijuana consulting firm! (as their clients and former clients sit in elected positions making regulatory decisions on #cannabis) and they have made hundreds of thousands of dollars in "fees". AKA bribes.

But that's not all for Plasha.
13/

Plasha and her husband Randy Will bought a residential property first as a couple and then dumped it to foreclosure as husband and wife in 2012.

Plasha and her husband Randy moved into a 17 acre horse property in Carmel Valley (and if you don't know how much CV real estate
14/

is worth, you do not want to know) First as tenants then, in 2019, almost like a Christmas miracle - they bought the property from one of David Packard's (yes of Hewlett Packard fame) daughters - Nancy Burnett (whose son was also Mayor or Carmel who then went to work for
15/

the Obama administration). Nancy Burnett sold the property to to Plasha and her husband Randy for $1.1M according to County records and the heiress carried the loan, in full, at an unknown rate of interest.

Nancy Burnett's sister is @juliepackard and she runs the
16/

wonderful but expensive @MontereyAq. The Monterey Aquarium received #PPP money during our pandemic where most Americans received $1,200 six months ago, or $5 a day.

November 3rd was just the beginning. We must clean up this corruption, nepotism and fraud.

This is all a
17/

a small portion of what takes place in Monterey County.

The local news has not covered this at all. Why? The Panetta name, of course - because they are more interesting protecting Jimmy and Plasha, #CanneryRow and Bruce Taylor they refuse to discuss now and may never.

"Fields” attorney said the judge”s retirement, which was first reported Monday [here] , is not related to an ongoing investigation by the state Commission on Judicial Performance into allegations of misconduct by Fields." montereyherald.com/2007/03/27/jud…
The investigation was not triggered by the Crystal Powser declaration.

The investigation was triggered by my letter to the CJP regarding disgraced Judge Fields conduct in holding fundraisers with land use attorney Tony Lombardo in a tournament named the "Robe & Gavel".

Facts.
3/

and who did Judge Fields go to for his lawyer?

THE FIXER Larry Biegel, now where has Monterey County heard that name before?

"Fields” lawyer, Larry Biegel, said the judge”s decision to hang up his robes is being driven by “health issues and family issues"

Locally, we had a woman named Crystal Powser who filed a declaration with a court of law that was not only credible but contained facts that were not in dispute. The corrupt Monterey County bench sealed the declaration and Powser was made out to be a nut.

2/

It was one of the worst treatments (publicly) by established figures on the Monterey County bench. Like Robert O'Farrell, like Stephen Sillman, like Michael Fields, like Russ Scott.

And Russ Scott is the sleazy Monterey College of Law graduate that threw out the crim case
3/

against a Monterey County sheriff's sergeant who was later rehired by Steve Bernal and promoted to "Commander" - fancy talk for Lieutenant.

This is Steve Bernal:

... as Santa Clara County SO drops in public confidence because Sheriff Laurie Smith was "allegedly" using a pay to play CCW policy, you pay Smith's people - you get a concealed gun permit, it's important to remember this fraud is/was widespread.

I had CCW policy changed in MC. Image
2/

In the years prior to 2011, citizens had to bow to the power of the Sheriff and in most cases were denied access, access that was only granted to a privileged few - like Clint Eastwood, who never had to bribe anyone for anything.

That said, there were a lot of suspicious
3/

instances of permits being handed out on a very "select" basis.

Like booted former judge Jose Angel Velasquez - Ricky Cabrera's compadre. Removed from the MoCo bench he received a gun permit from Mike Kanalakis. AKA Laurie Smith's buddy. @GavinNewsom Image

And in 2020 this "newspaper" endorsed Kim Craig the self-described "media darling", a bully and narcissist.

"All told, the group has donated $23,500 to council hopeful Kimbley Craig, incl. an in-kind donation of consulting services worth $3,000." montereycountyweekly.com/news/local_new…
* correction that was ten years ago in 2010.

SVLG also gave $1,000 to booted sheriff Mike Kanalakis - who never reported all those free meals at the Pub - or the secret file system he maintained on the County of Monterey's server (compliments of Virgil Schwab)

@WendyRootAskew Image
3/

The secret file system was designed to keep the public in the dark and if anyone were to ask, the County of Monterey would simply lie.

I know, I exposed that aspect to the County's operation.

I'm sure it's back now with @SheriffBernal. Perhaps he stores his accts there.

Did former California League of Rural Assistance & @CityofSalinas Asst. City Attorney turned ⁦@JerryBrownGov⁩ appointed Judge (just like Carrie Panetta) report Hudson to the State Bar? Or refer Hudson to the MOCO DA where Hudson was a DA once? montereycountyweekly.com/news/local_new…
NOPE

"In June 2018, Fiorina and Johnson petitioned the court to remove Hudson as trustee. In September 2018, Monterey County Superior Court Judge Susan Matcham ordered Hudson to repay the trust the full amount of all loans he took out"

And it kept going until the feds came in.
3/

It took the @USAO_NDCA and @FBISanFrancisco to arrest Hudson. The women being ripped off had no outlet for them in Monterey County, no support. Nada.

Why? Why didn't Jeannine Pacione, the new MoCo DA and John Phillips anointed on have anything for victims?

Monterey County's District Attorney Jeannine Pacione came out of a corrupt culture within unchecked the MCDA.

Pacione's predecessor's former boss, Bill Curtis, was told to step down and two State investigators came to Monterey County with a two inch file on Curtis.

//
2/

Bill Curtis was insulated for a time by Edwin Meese, the corrupt US Attorney General for the United States of America.

Curtis was able to keep some cases from investigation because of that cozy relationship.

When a clean CA Attorney General, John Van de Kamp
3/

came in, in 1983, it didn't take him long to see how bad things were in Monterey County.

That is when Van de Kamp sent his men down here to MoCo. They told Bill Curtis the bad news. Step aside or be prosecuted. "tap tap on the two inch file".

In politics everything is
