. Accept the Annual Fresno County Crop and Livestock Report for 2019 from the Department of Agriculture Melissa Kragen (sp?) Ag Commisioner: due to covid we wont have his team. Report: $7.8 Billion less than last year. Grapes dropped due to lower prices. Pistachios #3 slight
decrease but those trees tend to be every other year. Oranges back in to top 10 displacing onions. 89 countries exported to with Mexico and Canada the top. These prices don't reflect net profit. Ryan Jacobsen of Farm Bureau thanks Kragen and her staff.1/3 of vegetables and 2/3
of fruits are grown in California with many in the Valley. We stand on shoulders of those who came before us such as his grandparents. took 150 years to get to what Ag has become in Valley.The Supervisors have done lots to help. We have more issues with Sacramento than what
Mother Nature sends us. Kragen thanks her staff for the work on the report and the presentation. Magisg: Figs used to be higher on list. Kragen: doesn't see a revival of figs.Soft skins don't hold up well and hard to export. Magisg: Lumber has dropped. Is US Forest Land numbers
counted? or just private? Kragen: her guess is we try to get those numbers. Dead trees led to higher compost created.Pacheco: Kragen office is multi faceted including scales/weighing and this year they provided PPE to farmworkers. He appreciates that.Kragen: Farm Bureau

11. Creek Fire Disaster Recovery Debris Removal Ordinance.Numerous residents have been displaced from a loss of residential structures and hazardous conditions as result of the Creek Fire. The fire created the potential for widespread toxic exposure and threats to public health
and the harmful health effects of hazardous materials produced by a wildfire are well documented. Standards and removal procedures are needed immediately to protect the public safety, health and environment, and to facilitate coordinated and effective mitigation of the risks to
n ordinance of this nature is also required by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the purpose of cost recovery for the debris removal As a result, the Department has prepared and recommends adoption of the recommended Urgency Ordinance relating to the Creek Fire
disaster recovery pursuant to California Government Code, sections 25123(d) and 25131 and shall take effect immediately upon its approval by at least a four-fifths vote of your Board. The Urgency Ordinance is proposed for the purpose of setting standards for the safe removal

CAO Jean Rouseau announces Paul Nerland has been chosen to be new Chief Operation Officer (COO). Need department to be agile.Adjustments need to be done with Covid.Lots of information put out on web for county. Nerland and Bash helped with continuity of County government.
Pacheco: We had a robust interview process and happy to hear one of our own rose thru the ranks and Nerland will be our new #2 rank as COO. Brandau: Congratulates him as well. Magsig: Nerland had the most credibility of all the applicants. He will need to grow in certain skills.
