Violence can negatively affect women’s physical, mental, sexual, and reproductive health, and may increase the risk of acquiring #HIV in some settings.
#HealthWorkers, you can help women survivors of violence during #COVID19:
🤝 Offer first-line support to women
🩹 Provide medical treatment
❤️ Connect and refer to survivors to support
From preventing diseases to boosting mental wellbeing, WHO recommends adults do
🕒 at least 150–300 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity; or
🕒 at least 75–150 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity

🆕WHO has made a conditional recommendation against the use of remdesivir in hospitalized #COVID19 patients, as there is currently no evidence that remdesivir improves survival or reduces need for ventilation in these patients.
