YouTube has announced it will remove content that claims the 2020 election was fraudulent. Most of us know that Biden won, but that's not the point. I have talked at length about problems with our elections, but that also is not the point.

The point is that social media programs are being allowed to control the narrative, control the way most of us think about certain issues, by censoring those with different views. That's not the American way!

Facebook is censoring what they call... 2/9

"hate" but only towards protected groups. If you use hate against SOME groups, it's okay with them. And mark my words, one day, the far right WILL start calling progressivism hate speech against the wealthy.

so, not bound by the First Amendment. Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 protects social media companies from lawsuits. The common comparison I keep hearing is that a bookstore is not responsible for the content of the books. And... 4/9

that is right and well, UNTIL these companies start censoring and controlling what we can say.

Once YouTube or Facebook or Twitter starts controlling what we can say, they should absolutely be responsible for the content.

Censorship + Section 230 = having your cake and eating it too. One of these must go, and I prefer it's censorship.

The fact is that voter suppression, gerrymandering, illegal voter purges AND election fraud (not voter fraud) are a part of every... 6/9

election. YouTube will now prohibit us from saying so. Additionally, the DNC has cheated in (at least) the last 2 primaries. YouTube will no longer allow us to say so?

The establishment protects the establishment. And censorship is wrong. If... 7/9

YouTube is going to censor the right from claiming fraud and censor the left for claiming Bernie was cheated (legally), then YouTube, under truth in advertising laws, should be identifying itself as a platform for mainstream Democrats.

Questioning election integrity is not a threat to "our democracy". Making our elections a topic that's off limits DOES.

Joe Biden had a meeting with some civil rights leaders (and excluded @Blklivesmatter ) a few days ago. As leaked audio reveals, when these leaders asked Joe to use an executive order to create a database of police misconduct, he gets angry and defensive, saying that they... 1/6
