Very proud that ‘Bianchi Aficionado’ have featured my classic rebuilt Specialissimo on Instagram today and I did an interview a few days ago with an Italian Vintage Cycling magazine for next month’s issue.

@jdpoc ... and now to rebuild my other little bit of history, a late 1970s BMW R80, which I bought as a frame, a pair of wheels, a separate engine from a different bike, and four boxes of parts.

It would have looked like this originally. It's been unloved in a garage for 8 years, so a lot of work involved on the rebuild. Aim to have it ready by Spring.
... although I have an option on a R100 engine that I think might fit ...

I've also been given - GIVEN! - a 1952 Higgins, hand built at 214 Portland Road, South Norwood, London, SE25 (no longer there, went bust in the 60s)
Mostly original but a hell of a mess. Donor wants me to rebuild and sell it, with her getting half proceeds. Seems fair to me.
