Other factors needed --> names

Georg = 2-x-7 -- poor concentration (2) and a super sensitive combo

Meier = 1-x-5 --the 1 narrows the focus, 5 can be too quick for its own good

"Georg Meier" = 3-x-3 -- the most oopsy combo of the 81

The 3 is perhaps the worst quality for chess.

Most top players have rankings in the high 27xx to 28xx range.

Conclusion: aggressive (5ish) last name, 5 (under the confident 8) in the birthday -- he won with aggression, lost with carelessness.

Today engines & memorization dominate -- look for even #s.

What about Magnus Carlsen?

Magnus = 4-x-3
Carlsen = 6-x-9
Total: 1-x-3

--> some even, some odd

but he was born Sven Magnus Øen Carlsen

and Norwegian alphabet has 29 letters 😂

I'm initially surprised that he has a 3-x-2 total

Then you read his wiki...

"His father, a keen amateur chess player, taught him to play chess at the age of 5, although he initially showed little interest in the game."

and...

"Carlsen was born in Tønsberg, Norway, on November 30, 1990, to Sigrun Øen, a chemical engineer, and Henrik Albert Carlsen, an IT consultant."

Can't get much more left-brained than those two professions.

So... 3ish kid with 4ish parents. Ends up in 4ish game.

What makes him so good?


Look for the 6

(1) Sven = 6
(2) Carlsen = 6-x-9
(3) Sven Carlsen = 6
(4) Father: "Henrik Albert Carlsen" = 6
(5) DOB: Nov 30, 1990 --> 2 3 1 = 6

The 6 can have a photographic memory

HUGE advantage in chess
