BREAKING—Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) says he’s tested positive for #COVID19 as well, after being sheltered in the crowded protective room during the Capitol siege where many GOP unmasked.

He’s now 3rd congress member to test positive after @PramilaJayapal and @RepBonnie.
2) Late last night, @RepJayapal just announced her positive COVID test.
3) just yesterday afternoon, Rep Watson Coleman’s positive
4) Congress’s attending physician warning 2 days ago.
5) Congresswoman @LisaBRochester is more right by the day trying to beg GOP members to mask. All while they mocked her.
6) This @PunchbowlNews video shows the enraging interaction of those anti mask GOP members of Congress refusing the masks offered.
7) Who were the callously cruel & jeering GOP house members in that video by @PunchbowlNews— Reps @mtgreenee (GA), @andybiggs4az (Ariz.), @RepCloudTX (Tex.), @RepMullin (Okla.) & @RepScottPerry (Pa.)

—refusing masks offered by Dem Rep. @LisaBRochester (Del.) while in the room.
8) Let’s not also forget—one unmasked GOP congressman in the video is the infamous conspiracy crazed @RepScottPerry who once suggested ISIS was connected to Vegas mass shooting. Can’t make this stuff up.

➡️Scott Perry is the Steve King of Pennsylvania. witf.org/2018/10/24/sco…
9) the anger is brewing nationwide.... we honestly need to hold these dangerous anti mask GOP members accountable.
10) that infamous mask refusal video, now posted by someone else online:

BREAKING—They’ve arrested the man who threw the fire extinguisher at the police on Capitol siege day. Who is he? Retired firefighter Robert Sanford of Chester, PA—he faces three federal felony charges including assaulting a police officer. Oy.
2) let this sink in— a man who dedicated him career to putting out fires 🔥 now charged with assault for throwing a fire extinguisher 🧯. Can’t make this up folks. wsj.com/livecoverage/t…
3) The extinguisher that Mr. Sanford allegedly threw is separate from the one that killed Officer Brian Sicknick, who was also struck in the head with a fire extinguisher during the unrest and died from his wounds, officials said.

The new Columbus Ohio variant, dubbed COH.20G/501Y, has been found in 1 patient so far. It has 3 mutations in the #SARSCoV2 spike protein, which may affect how it’s different. But nobody knows yet since it’s so new. Unrelated to UK, SA, Brazil variants.

2) Again it was just 1 patient. New variants pop up all the time. Not sure if this is significant. That’s why I didn’t jump on reporting it like others did yesterday. But sharing it now since so many of you asked. I’ll update y’all if I find out anything intriguing.
3) But I am very concerned about both the #b117 and the new Brazil variant.

NEW—How good is “natural infection” immunity? 83% protection—People who have been infected by #COVID19 “may have immunity to the virus for around five months”, says study led by Public Health England (PHE). Possibly longer with more followup. 🧵
cnn.com/2021/01/14/hea…
2) “Two groups of people, one with no evidence of previous infection and the other with evidence of past infection. It concluded that past infection reduces the chances of catching the virus again by 83% for *at least five months*.”
3) 83% protection via natural infection isn’t foolproof against reinfection at all. Would you assume you’re invincible with those odds?

Another reason chasing herd immunity isn’t as good as vaccines.

WORRISOME—Australia suddenly saw 5 infections of the UK 🇬🇧 B117 variant among 4 quarantined travelers & a cleaner on the same floor—but get this—none of the 5 people occupied the same room!

(Whisper)—it’s airborne, & #B117 40-80% more contagious. #COVID19
2) To be clear, we’ve known #SARSCoV2 is airborne (and known for a while now, despite deniers & downplayers).

But the #b117 is even more transmissible.

aerosol study indicates that coronavirus is persistent and stable up to 16 hours in stagnant air.
3) 6 feet rule not enough indoors

I’m sure Hitler “learned a pretty big lesson” (as Collins would say) after Dec. 21, 1924 upon Hitler's release from prison.

Impeaching Trump alone isn’t enough. He will not have learned his lesson. Bring on all the indictments after Jan 21st. Image
2) Meanwhile today, they caught the “Camp Auschwitz” shirt guy in Virginia. Image
3) This is why @Schwarzenegger’s speech was so important, coming from the country of Hilter’s birth and witnessing fascism first hand.
