2021年1月5日,中国共产党武威市第四届委员会第十四次全体会议暨市委经济工作会议召开,表彰奖励了2020年全市推进高质量发展重大项目建设先进单位和先进个人,我所2MWt液态燃料钍基熔盐堆项目获得武威市“高质量发展贡献奖”。
自2018年2MWt液态燃料钍基熔盐实验堆场址正式落地甘肃省武威市民勤县红砂岗镇以来,在中科院、甘肃省和武威市大力支持下,我所快速推进武威园区各项建设。2020年,克服疫情影响,完成主体装置厂房、放射性废物中心结构施工和墙体砌筑,并按计划分区域交付工艺设备安装;
完成实物保护系统设备安装,正进行系统调试;综合实验大厅、食堂、网络系统、道路与围墙等已建成并交付使用;试剂仓库、净水站、门卫、换热站、消防水泵房等正在加紧施工,园区已初具规模。9月启动下安全容器现场安装,12月启动了堆本体离线安装,工程建设取得重要里程碑进展。(武威分部 供稿)

近日,长春应化所廖伍平团队自主研发的Cextrant230萃取剂成功实现了4立方米反应釜规模的生产。在国家973项目、中科院战略性先导科技专项、国家自然科学基金等项目的支持下, ImageImageImage
廖伍平团队历时八年时间成功研发出以Cextrant230为代表的系列萃取剂,并将其应用于高丰度稀土元素铈和稀土伴生放射性元素钍以及过渡金属铜、锆、铪等的提取与分离,相关技术与工艺已获中国发明专利授权8项、美国和澳大利亚专利授权各1项,并入选“2015年中国稀土十大科技新闻”。
铈是稀土资源中的高丰度元素,特别是在我国北方稀土资源中,其含量达到稀土总量一半。此外,我国包头稀土矿和四川稀土矿中还伴生有大量放射性元素钍。因而,实现高丰度铈和放射性钍的优先分离是实现稀土资源绿色冶炼的重要措施与方案。但一直以来,受萃取剂性能与价格的制约,这一思路没有得到践行。

近日,我院磁研所与中国科学院上海应用物理研究所共同承担的钍基熔盐堆核能系统燃料运输设备项目顺利通过验收。院长高世铭、副院长张健、产业处处长任文斌参加了验收会。 ImageImageImage
本项目是中国科学院承担的重大科技先导项目,在我省武威市民勤县落地实施;我院磁性器件研究所利用磁力耦合的磁球分选技术与燃料输送技术完成熔盐堆燃料装卸运输设备的攻关技术,这在第四代核电装置又占有一席之地,该设备的验收标志着我院磁研所参与国家重大科技项目的能力又得到了充分的体现。
我院将继续加强与中科院优势资源对接,深入推进合作项目。(产业处 供稿)

按照国家法律法规和《2MWt液态燃料钍基熔盐实验堆实物保护系统设计专篇》批复的要求,需建立核材料管制实物保护系统人防与技防设施。核材料管制人防保卫力量的培训是实物保护与系统中人防措施的关键环节之一。人防力量肩负维护园区治安秩序,监视和巡查园区重点区域,预防核材料突发事件,
并为应急行动提供支持等重要责任。此次培训主要参训人员为武威园区全体安保警卫人员,培训内容包括:本单位基本情况介绍,核安保法律法规宣贯,武威园区核材料实物保护系统项目情况介绍,人防保卫力量岗位基本知识,岗位操作技能和保卫通用知识培训以及核安保突发事件应急知识培训及实战单项演练等。
